Biography: A 31 year resident of Claremont,Ca.- Served on the executive boards of the Old Baldy Boy Scouts Council and Casa Colina Hospital,the Claremont Red Cross, Published a weekly newspaper, The Pomona Clarion for 5 yrs, Past President of the Pomona NAACP and a Ham radio hobbyist. Other hams in the family include wife Norma, n6mmf, daughter - Marla, kc6yrz and her husband Fred, ke6vaz. Norma and I have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Two daughters are Lawyers, one a Physician and our son is a Correctional Counselor for the State of Calif. Norma is a retired Assoc. Warden - Calif. Dept of Corrections, I've been a Professional Pharmaceutical representative/ District Sales Manager for one of the world's largest Pharmaceutical research companies for 29 yrs retired in the year 2000. We were participants in the 1993 and 1995 Yaesu dxpedition that sailed to and worked from 9 different islands with 9 different calls. I own and operate a amateur tv repeater on San Gorgonia Mt. - Los Angeles area, which is linked to repeaters from San Diego to Las Vegas,Nv. I'm a past president of the Los Angeles Amateur Radio Club, past president of the Tri-County Radio Assoc., past president of the international OMIK Amateur Electronic Communications Assoc. and a member of the Amateur Radio Chapter of the Family Motor Coach Assoc. We own a County Coach RV and enjoy "roughing it". I'm an active Prince Hall Mason in Pomona, Ca. and a member of the Consistory and Shrine Temple in Riverside, Ca.
