Biography: Here is a not too recent photo of Pharmacist's Mate Second Class Kellum taken at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1955.
On discharge from the U.S. Navy I entered the University of Illinois (Chicago) College Of Pharmacy & graduated in 1961. I became registered that fall. I have worked as a staff Pharmacist in several independent neighborhood stores & in management in two chain stores.
I became interested in radio in the late 1970's during the 11 meter "craze" . My HAM license dates from the late 1980's.
I am also presently trying to raise my code speed using W1AW's on-the-air QST code classes
I am somewhat comfortable at 15 WPM & getting better.

Hobbies: I am presently retired trying to grow wine grapes & the world's finest table tomatoes ( and grass)
